I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love hand knit socks. To me they are one of the great luxuries in life. If you have never had the pleasure of wearing handmade socks here is your chance to sample some great patterns.
I am including both knit and crochet patterns here so there is something for everyone. I will most definitely be adding more and more socks in the weeks to come. Why not knit a pair for yourself and some as gifts for the people you love?

Funky But Easy Sock Pattern
These socks are both fun and easy. A great pair to start with if you have never knit socks before.

Two Needle Toe Up Socks
This pattern is very different and excellent for the beginner sock knitter who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of double pointed needles. Instead it is knit on two circular needles. It is also toe up so you can be sure it will fit as you can try it on as you go.

Crochet Light Weight Socks
These socks are a great find. Most crochet patterns for socks are for bootee style socks that are too thick to wear in shoes. This one is done in sock weight yarn and can be worn in your shoes.

Toe Up Crochet Socks
This is another unusual crochet sock pattern. It is worked toe-up like many popular knit sock patterns.
