The Traveling Scarf Update
I am so excited! The Traveling Scarf is ready to hit the road.

Bookmark this post to follow the progress of the scarf.
At present the scarf is scheduled to travel to:
- Cheltenham, England
- Lancashire, UK
- Peterborough, On (x2)
- Indianapolis, IN
- East Peoria, IL
If you would like to add your city to the list contact me to have the scarf visit you for you to knit your bit.
I will be adding some details and more images of the scarf as it grows through its travels.
The portion I knit:
The wool is Patons Classic Wool.
The colour is Harvest
Needles 4.5mm(US 7)
Gauge 20sts x 26 r= 4 ins (1cm)
I will be adding the stitch patterns later in the comments below.
I would very much like to thank everyone who volunteered and everyone who participated. Unfortunately, one of the people who requested to participate did not follow through on the spirit of this project and did not pass it along to the next person. This is very disappointing to everyone involved and I wish I could give you a better update.
I apologize to everyone. I did not foresee this happening. I assumed everyone who requested to participate would be genuine.
I do have a bit of good news though! There is a new global knitting project beginning.
