Any simple knitting patterns for a beginner?

Author: I'm just starting to knit, so I don't know to decrease or increase, or add another skein of yarn. Any easy patterns I can make? Thanks

a great way to start would be to know how to knit and purl, as well as knowing how to add another skein of yarn or changing colors which is very easy to do. Just take your new color and leave a 6 inch tail and start working with that new color

They have a long list of patterns and they rate the patterns by difficulty so you can pick ones that are easy. They also have crochet patterns on their site if you want to tryp crochet.
