Hi,
Search ‘ knitting pattern central’ for a good selection.Happy knitting!
Can anyone recommend me a good book of knitting patterns for bags or a good website?
Or even just a good pattern that you have used. English patterns please ie; not ones that suggest American yarns, I’m not really expert enough to convert them yet, I would probably be classed as a beginner as I have only been knitting for 18 months so nothing too complicated please. I have just completed my first bag and that involved shaping and knitting with 2 colours.
try this web site, it has all sort of patterns www.knittingpatterncentral.com
Magazines that feature crochet and knitting patterns ?
Does anyone know of any magazines that have crochet and knitting patterns that I can subscribe to ?
Thanks ahead of time!
Do you guys have websites for your favorite magazine ?
There are literally thousands of magazines with crochet and knitting patterns. The best source I have found is at Chapters. They sell magazines, and also in the craft section of the store, they sell books of patterns. After you decide on the magazine(s) you can then subscribe. I would suggest you subscribe online though, as most offer the best subscription prices online.

Here Comes The Sun Hat
Here is a cute little crochet bucket hat for your baby.
Here Comes The Sun Hat Pattern

A nice wide brimmed hat will give your baby lots of protection from the sun. This crochet hat pattern starts at size 3 months all the way up to 5-6 year old. Perfect for all your young children.

On The Sunny Side Baby Hat Pattern
This one is a cute knit hat with a ripple pattern brim. Super cute and great for those who prefer to knit rather than crochet a sun hat for your baby.

Megan's Sun Hat
Another cute little lacy bucket hat pattern.
TIP: The key to making great hats is in the blocking of the finished product. Use a mixing bowl approximately 20″ around at top turned upside down. Stretch your hat over the bowl and spray with a water bottle. It is recommended you use a solution of 1 part starch to 3 parts water for even better results. Allow the sunhat to dry completely on the bowl before removing. The starch will help the hat hold it’s shape and help to resist soiling.
If you have any great sun hat patterns you would like to share please leave a comment!
